Painted in watercolor, Audubon Oak captures the timeless beauty of the majestic oaks at Audubon Park in Louisiana as the setting sun bathes the landscape in warm, golden light. Delicate washes of color and the natural fluidity of watercolor bring the graceful branches and sweeping canopies to life, evoking the quiet magic of an evening beneath these beloved Southern trees.
Inspired by the character and beauty of Louisiana’s historic oaks, this painting celebrates the peaceful charm of the landscape at day’s end, when the fading light softens the world and the trees seem to hold the last glow of the sun.
