$250.00

This landscape painting was inspired by the hymn “Man of Sorrows, What a Name”

Author: Philip P. Bliss (1875) “Man of sorrows what a name for the Son of God, who came ruined sinners to reclaim: Hallelujah, what a Savior!”

“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.” Isaiah 53: 4-5

  • An original watercolor painting on 140lb arches paper, 11x14 inches, unframed

  • Shipping: I ship my work with USPS the majority of the time and a flat rate is automatically calculated at checkout or select "local pick up" for front porch pick up.

  • This comes unframed but if you are local, I would be happy to work with you on framing for an additional cost.

Thank you for considering a piece of my art for you or your loved ones home.

Hymnscapes, landscapes inspired by hymns, began in February of 2020. I have always loved to sing hymns, they have always been a rich source of truth and worship for me. I hope these images help you sing and hear the words anew.

Psalm 96:11-12 “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy”
