Fairest Lord Jesus | Watercolor landscape painting inspired by a hymn

$180.00

This landscape painting was inspired by the hymn “Fairest Lord Jesus”

Author: William T. Sleeper (1887) “Fairest Lord Jesus, ruler of all nature, O thou of God and man the Son, Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor, thou, my soul's glory, joy, and crown.”

“One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4

  • An original watercolor painting on 140lb arches paper, 8x10 inches, unframed

  • Shipping: I ship my work with USPS the majority of the time and a flat rate is automatically calculated at checkout or select "local pick up" for front porch pick up.

  • This comes unframed but if you are local, I would be happy to work with you on framing for an additional cost.

Thank you for considering a piece of my art for you or your loved ones home.

Hymnscapes, landscapes inspired by hymns, began in February of 2020. I have always loved to sing hymns, they have always been a rich source of truth and worship for me. I hope these images help you sing and hear the words anew.

Psalm 96:11-12 “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy”
